Your Hosts

Little Abaco Bonefish Lodge is owned and operated by Sidney Thomas. Sidney was raised in the town of Crown Haven on Little Abaco Island. His wife Ketta manages the lodge and the dining program. Together they help ensure your stay at Little Abaco Bonefish Lodge is memorable. Prior to moving back to Crown Haven in 2017, the two owned and operated Water Cay Bonefish Lodge on the northern shore of Grand Bahama Island - this lodge was beloved by anglers for over a decade. Post Hurricane Dorian, Water Cay is no longer and Sidney has moved his operation back to his home waters. Sidney is a master guide. Bonefishing is in his blood, and he’s now operating on the very flats where he honed his skills years ago.

The Lodge

The building that now houses the lodge was built by Sidney Thomas some thirty years ago and was then his family’s home. Now, remodeled and repaired, Sidney and Ketta live on one side of the lodge and the other half sleeps up to six anglers in three bedrooms, with two baths. A lounge/dining area offers an indoor place to relax while an outdoor kitchen provides an authentic Bahamian experience. Food is prepared (both indoors and out) and served by Ketta. The home is air-conditioned throughout. Although this lodge may not be fancy, it is clean, comfortable and cozy, providing plenty of amenities for the hardcore angler.

Little Abaco is 100% Bahamian owned and operated. Your guides, meals, and staff bring you a true Bahamian experience. You will eat, breathe, and fish the real Bahamas.
